What is a Coastal Lawyers Discovery Call?- $220

A discovery call is a 30 minute telephone call with a lawyer from Coastal Lawyers to discuss your legal problem.

It is a virtual meet and greet if you like. It is an opportunity for you to obtain our preliminary views about the process and of course the costs involved if you wish to engage our services further. We will answer those pressing questions you have. 

We recommend that all potential client’s book in a discovery call first. 

The lawyer client relationship is one built on trust and mutual understanding of our roles and responsibilities, so it is important that you build a good working relationship with your lawyer. Our discovery call is the first step to getting to know each other and understanding the legal problem you are facing.

Our discovery call is usually followed by a Strategy Session, which is a 1 hour meeting either face to face in our offices at Gosford, or via video call where we map out a strategy for your legal problem. 

How much does a call cost?

Our discovery calls are $220 for a 30 minute call with an experienced lawyer. 

Our calls are an opportunity for us to get to know each other. There is absolutely no obligation to proceed past that call. 

If you do wish to continue with our services after that, we will usually book you in for a Strategy Session which is $330. Any costs after that are always fully discussed and outlined in our Cost Agreement and retainer before proceeding further. We offer fixed fees for all criminal law and traffic law matters and cost certainty for family law matters. 

How can I pay? 

You can pay via credit card or direct deposit into our solicitors trust account. Full payment is required 24 hours before your scheduled call.
